FAQ

What is Lakehouse?

Lakehouse is a family of specialist talent networks operated by Sloane Staffing, covering data engineering, AI search (AEO/GEO), Adobe Experience Cloud, and GTM engineering. Each network has its own bench and its own vocabulary; you describe what you are hiring for in plain language and see who we already know, without an account and without talking to anyone first.

How is this different from a job board or a CV database?

You are not searching a pile of applications. Every specialist here has been qualified by Sloane, and each profile is written around problems the person has actually solved rather than years of experience or a list of technologies they have sat near. You see who fits your brief straight away, and Sloane confirms availability and interest before any introduction.

What does it cost to search?

Nothing. Searching is free and needs no account — no sign-up wall, no credit card, and you are not added to a sequence for running a search. A fee applies only if you go on to hire someone Sloane introduces, and it is agreed with you before any introduction is made.

Why are the profiles anonymized?

So you judge the work first. An anonymized profile shows what the specialist has actually built and shipped, without a name or a CV format pulling attention away from it. Before any introduction, Sloane confirms the specialist's availability, interest and fit for your brief — so the conversation you get is worth having.
